Hello friends,
Sorry it's taken me so long to update this blog and so it goes.
Joel is in his 3rd year of teaching, 2nd at Whitehouse HS teaching senior economics. He loves economics so much that he decided to start his MBA at UT Tyler, which he did this past Fall 2008. Not only will he be pursuing his MBA, but he's decided to pursue an accounting certification first. This way he can get some job experience in a business setting.
I am all done with my classes for my bachelor's in EC-4 & All Level Special Education. Now I am student teaching at Hubbard MS in a math resource classroom. Then I graduate on May 9th!! It's going well so far; I know I'm going to learn a lot! My teacher's really helpful & the kids are pretty good. However, I can't wait till I'm going to be in my own classroom.
Still no kids for us, but we do have 3 dogs. I know...3 is a ridiculous amount of dogs! It's a long story, which I will share another time. We also moved since I wrote on here last. We moved right around the block. That story's for another time as well. Also, another story to look forward to will be telling you about how my brother-in-law, Jason will be moving into our house late February. He'll be a paying tenant of course, since we need the extra cash & he needs a place to stay. But again, that's for another time.
